- Fish meat soup (Machhli ka maans ka soup)
- Chicken soup (Murghi ka soup)
- Munakka (Raisins) (Munaka)
- Chandan (Sandalwood) (Chandan)
- Honey (Madhu)
- Indian Gooseberry (Amla)
- Cinnamon (Dalchini)
- Cardamom (Elaichi)
- Dry ginger, Black pepper, Long pepper
(Sonth, Maricha, Pipali – Trikatu) - Munakka (Raisins) (Munaka)
- Ghee (Clarified butter) (Ghee)
Apathya (To Be Avoided / Unwholesome Regimen)
The following substances and activities should be strictly avoided-
- Dry, astringent and cold substances
(Ruksha, Kashaya, Sheeta Dravya) - Very little food intake (Alpa Bhojana)
- Fasting (Anashana)
- Excessive sexual intercourse (Adhik Stri Sambhog)
- Excessive suppression of natural urges (Adhik Vega Dharana)
- Excessive physical exhaustion (Ati Shrama / Exhaustion)
- Excessive intake of oily, sour, salty and very hot foods
(Snigdha, Amla, Lavana, Ushna Bhojana) - Excessive anger and exposure to fire, heat or sun
(Adhik Krodha, Agni, Taapa) - Sleeping during daytime (Divaswapna)
- Excessive physical labour (Ati Sharirik Parishrama)
- Excessive riding or travelling (Ati Yatra / Travelling)
- Wrestling or heavy physical combat (Mallayuddha / Wrestling)

Apathya (To Be Avoided / Unwholesome Regimen)
The following habits and substances should be avoided, as they aggravate doshas and disturb normal physiology:
- Smoking / inhalation of smoke (Dhoom Sevan)
- Exposure to dust (Dhul Sevan)
- Excessive physical exercise (Vyayam)
- Dry food substances (Ruksha Anna)
- Suppression of natural urges that should not be suppressed

- Meat soup (Maans ka soup)
- Soups of barley, barnyard millet, kodo millet and green gram
(Jau, Sava, Kodo, Moong ka soup) - Soups of makoy, kasondi and radish
(Makoye, Kasondi, Mooli ka soup) - Shathi rice and Shali rice (Shathi, Shaali Chawal)
- Fish and chicken (Fish, Chicken)
- Bathua greens (Bhathua ka saag)
- Milk pudding (rice pudding) (Doodh ki kheer)
- Fresh cream (Malai)
- Jaggery juice (Gud ka ras)
- Radish (Mooli)
- Curd and diluted buttermilk / curd water (Dahi, Dahi ka pani)
- Fermented drink (Kanji) (Kanji)
- Pomegranate / Dried pomegranate seeds (Dadim / Anardana)
